Ipswich Art Gallery

The Ipswich Art Gallery is located in the heritage-listed former town hall in the heart of Ipswich Central, 40 kilometres west of Brisbane.

The Gallery presents a program of changing exhibitions and heritage displays, special events, family activities, complementary performances and art workshops. The Gallery also offers guided group tours of the permanent and temporary exhibitions.

The Ipswich Art Gallery was the first in Australia to create a dedicated art gallery for children and is one of the most-visited regional art galleries in the country.

Location and Parking: Ipswich Art Gallery is located in the centre of Ipswich CBD, close to cafes & parks, and just a short walk from Ipswich Railway Station, bus stops and car parks.

Days: Open seven days a week. Open ANZAC Day 12noon-5pm. Closed Good Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Years Day.

Time: 10am-5pm. Entry is free (unless otherwise stated).
