The Wynnum Wading Pool and Waterpark is the perfect natural bathing experience and a great seaside area to cool off.
Always an ocean breeze during the summer heat. This park has all facilities including a large changing block, adjoining playground and cafes nearby for after your swim. If the tide is high you can stroll over to Pandanus Beach for an ocean dip.
The pool was built in 1931 by unemployed men on relief work.
A new $770,000 playground Water Park was opened on the 8th of May 2004 right next to the Wading Pool.
