Almond Bar

Almond Bar is a restaurant/bar that aims to serve authentic, homemade mezza, delicious cocktails and wonderful wines in a very comfortable and friendly environment.

The idea started with a dream that owner Carol Salloum had to bring her mother and sisters love for food and her love for people and beverages together.

The Salloum household regularly had a large container of mixed nuts in the fridge. It always seemed that the first nuts to disappear were the almonds. No one ever owned up to eating the almonds... none of the four children.

Carol and Sharon decided to take their experiences of growing up to Darlinghurst... the food, the almonds, the Middle Eastern hospitality, the laughs, the gatherings, the comfort and especially the love.

The staff at Almond Bar have become family and want all their guests to enjoy a great experience in a very relaxing atmosphere.
