Toowong Village's Tree of Hope and Gratitude returns to help Brisbane families facing cancer

Toowong Village's much-loved Tree of Hope & Gratitude is back from 21 September to 17 October, inviting the community to leave messages of hope and gratitude for families at The Wesley Hospital Choices Cancer Support Centre.

A life-sized Jacaranda tree will be located on Level One near the Toowong Library for shoppers to write a message on a postcard and leave it beneath the tree.

For every message left, Toowong Village will donate $5 to The Wesley Hospital Choices Cancer Support Centre, donating up to a total of $5,000.

This year there are more ways to give; shoppers can use the Tap to Donate machine, which will be located next to the tree, to make a direct donation of $5, $10, $20, or $25.

A Hope Bear will also be available to purchase for $20, a plush keepsake, with profits being donated to Wesley Choices.
