Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble: As You Like It
The Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble invites you into the Forest of Arden as we bring As You Like It to life with a vibrant ensemble, beautiful live music, a touch of melancholy, and a wrestling match thrown in for good measure!
As You Like It
"We that are true lovers run into strange capers.."
Banished by her power-hungry uncle, Rosalind escapes the court in disguise with her devoted cousin Celia, but not before falling head-over-heels for the noble Orlando.
In the Forest of Arden, among goatherds and exiled nobles, fools and lovers, worlds collide as they discover that losing yourself might just be the best way to find out who you really are.
Packed with some of Shakespeare's most quotable lines and delightful moments, As You Like It is a joyous tale of disguise, discovery, and finding your people.
