oskar med k brings feel to Sydney

Oslo-based producer oskar med k will play Forum Melbourne on Saturday 2 January 2027, part of his first Australian headline tour and an early opportunity for local audiences to see the rising electronic artist's expanding live show.

The Melbourne date follows his appearance at Beyond The Valley at Barunah Plains on New Year's Eve. His headline run then continues to Sydney's Enmore Theatre on 3 January, Brisbane's The Tivoli on 7 January and Perth's Metro City on 8 January. The Perth concert was upgraded from Villa following strong demand.

The Forum performance comes at a significant point in the producer's career. After establishing himself with the 2023 EP No Clouds and 2024 release keep your feet, oskar med k reached a much wider audience in 2025 through Make Me Feel.

The track became his breakthrough release and was subsequently reworked with American singer Khalid as nobody (make me feel). Make Me Feel topped Shazam's Global House Chart, while the collaboration helped introduce oskar med k's melodic, emotionally driven take on house music to listeners well beyond the electronic club circuit.

A new chapter with feel

His latest album, feel, was released through 7CULT on 27 March 2026. Running for about 45 minutes across 17 tracks, the record develops the combination of atmospheric production, house rhythms and songwriting that has increasingly defined his work.

Make Me Feel sits at the centre of the album, alongside tracks including Release Me, Peace Again, Sweet Nothings, Flowers, Night After Night, On the Ground and Spellbound.

The album also broadens oskar med k's collaborative reach. ZHU appears on Start It All Again, kris. mondaé joins him on You Don't Need Anyone, Haley Joelle features on i think i'm addicted and Izzy Bizu appears on Say No Prayer.

That balance between club production and vocal songwriting is central to oskar med k's appeal. Rather than treating house music solely as functional dancefloor material, his catalogue frequently pairs restrained, melodic production with themes of longing, intimacy and introspection.

From Oslo producer to international stages

Born Oskar Sjåvåg and based in Oslo, oskar med k began releasing music under his current name in the early 2020s. His first releases included Rain, featuring Marini, followed by the No Clouds EP in 2023.

His catalogue developed quickly from there. Tracks such as two shots too much and alone preceded keep your feet in 2024, while 2025 brought Knock Me Off My Feet, Too Tense and the AVAION collaboration CAN'T FIND YOU before Make Me Feel accelerated his international profile.

The period surrounding feel has also moved his career decisively onto larger stages. His live schedule has included performances at Coachella, Colorado's Red Rocks and New York's Webster Hall, alongside sold-out headline dates and further touring through the northern hemisphere.

That experience will feed directly into the Australian concerts, which have been positioned as his most ambitious live shows in the country to date. The Forum date places the emphasis on the relationship between his more reflective recorded material and the club energy of his live sets.

The Melbourne show takes place at Forum Melbourne, 154 Flinders Street, on Saturday 2 January 2027 from 8pm. The event is general admission standing and strictly for patrons aged 18 and over.

Valid photographic proof of age is required for entry. Accepted identification includes an Australian driver licence, Victorian learner permit, passport, proof of age card or Keypass; photographs and photocopies of identification are not accepted.

Ticket holders are advised to download mobile tickets before arriving. Limited booth seating may also be available, although booth access requires both the relevant general admission ticket and booth upgrade.

Forum Melbourne permits phone cameras and small point-and-shoot cameras but not larger cameras or equipment with detachable lenses, and flash photography is prohibited. Bag checks apply on entry, while a cloakroom operates on the mezzanine level.

With feel giving oskar med k a substantial new body of material and Make Me Feel having carried his music to an international audience, the Forum concert captures the Norwegian producer at the point where an online and streaming breakthrough is being translated into a rapidly expanding global live career.
