Calvin Harris has confirmed his first dedicated Australian headline tour, with four dates scheduled across February 2027.

The Australian run begins at Langley Park in Perth on Thursday, 18 February, followed by Brisbane's RNA Showgrounds on Friday, 19 February and The Domain in Sydney on Saturday, 20 February.

After a short break, Harris will finish the tour at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne on Friday, 26 February.

All four shows are 18-plus events.

The announcement represents a significant change from Harris's previous visits to Australia. Although he has been appearing before Australian audiences for well over a decade, the 2027 dates will be the first time he has toured the country under his own headline banner rather than appearing as part of a festival or another artist's tour.

A Long History With Australian Audiences

Harris was already familiar to Australian festival crowds years before he became one of the dominant figures in international electronic pop.

He appeared on the 2010 Big Day Out line-up alongside Muse, Powderfinger, Lily Allen, Groove Armada, Dizzee Rascal, Kasabian and other major international and Australian acts. Later that year he was also part of Stereosonic, joining a dance-heavy bill led by Tiesto and featuring Carl Cox, Robyn, Major Lazer, Sebastian Ingrosso, Benny Benassi and Afrojack.

He returned to Stereosonic in 2012, by which point his profile had risen considerably. That year's line-up included Avicii, Tiesto, Example, Major Lazer, Martin Solveig, Porter Robinson and Dillon Francis.

Harris's more recent Australian festival history includes Festival X in 2019. He headlined the event alongside a bill featuring Armin van Buuren, Alison Wonderland, Steve Aoki and others, with the Australian leg visiting Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

That history makes the 2027 tour notable: Australian audiences have had numerous opportunities to see Harris within large festival programs, but never across a standalone national headline run.

From I Created Disco To Global Pop Producer

Born Adam Wiles in Dumfries, Scotland, Harris emerged internationally during the late 2000s. His debut album, I Created Disco, arrived in 2007 and introduced the electronic sound behind early tracks including Acceptable in the 80s and The Girls.

His second album, Ready for the Weekend, followed in 2009, but the scale of his career changed dramatically during the next several years.

The 2012 album 18 Months became a defining release, bringing together dance production and an unusually deep roster of vocal collaborators. Its singles included Feel So Close, Bounce with Kelis, Let's Go with Ne-Yo, Sweet Nothing with Florence Welch and I Need Your Love with Ellie Goulding.

The album helped establish the model that has remained central to Harris's career: electronic records constructed as major pop songs, often pairing his production with prominent singers.

That approach continued on 2014's Motion, which produced tracks including Summer, Blame with John Newman and Outside with Goulding. Summer also placed Harris himself behind the microphone, something he had done more frequently earlier in his recording career.

A Catalogue Built Around Major Collaborations

Few producers of his generation have assembled a catalogue of collaborations spanning as many corners of mainstream pop, dance, R&B and hip-hop.

Harris produced Rihanna's We Found Love, a collaboration that earned him his Grammy Award when its video won Best Music Video. He has received six Grammy nominations through the 2026 awards, including recognition for 18 Months, Sweet Nothing and Miracle.

His later work with Rihanna produced This Is What You Came For, while One Kiss with Dua Lipa spent eight weeks at No.1 on the UK singles chart in 2018.

His creative partnership with Ellie Goulding has been particularly enduring. After I Need Your Love and Outside, the pair reunited for Miracle in 2023. The trance-influenced single spent eight weeks at No.1 in the UK and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Dance Recording. They collaborated again on Free in 2024.

Other major Harris records have included Giant with Rag'n'Bone Man and Slide with Frank Ocean and Migos, while his Funk Wav Bounces projects shifted towards a warmer mixture of funk, R&B, hip-hop and pop.

The first Funk Wav Bounces album, released in 2017, assembled an extensive guest list that included Frank Ocean, Pharrell Williams, Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, Future, Migos and Young Thug. A second volume followed in 2022.

Calvin Harris Continues To Release New Music

The Australian tour arrives with Harris still adding new material to a catalogue stretching back almost two decades.

His 2025 collaboration Blessings with Clementine Douglas became another substantial UK hit, reaching No.3 on the singles chart.

In 2026, Harris teamed with Kasabian for Release the Pressure and Irish singer and DJ Jazzy for Satisfy. The latter reached the UK dance chart's Top 10.

His recent catalogue also includes 96 Months, a compilation that brings together music from across the later stages of his career.

The longevity of those releases gives Harris an unusually broad selection of material for his first Australian headline shows. His catalogue now stretches from the electro-pop of his earliest records through the EDM-driven hits of the 2010s, the funk and R&B direction of the Funk Wav Bounces albums and his more recent return to club-focused dance music.
